Computer is the name given to a machine which can process an input data as per the list of instructions (program) given, to produce the output. Information Technology (IT) is a much broader term and implies the use of technology for processing information.Since computers form an integral part of any technology being used for information processing, IT is more commonly understood by school students as the subject which covers the use of computers and software to receive, process, save and transmit data and information.
